How To Cook Cream Of Asparagus Soup

  • (blender recipe)
  • 3/4cup  water
  • 3/4tsp salt
  • 1lb asparagus,cut in 1/4 inch
  • (0.5-cm) pieces on diagonal
  • 1cup light cream
  • 1/8tsp pepper
  • 1/4tsp dill weed(optional)
  • 2tbsp butter
PROCEDURE:
Heat water and salt boiling. Add asparagus pieces, cover and about 5 minutes or until asparagus is tender. Put asparagus and cooking water in blender, cover and blend until smooth. Blend in cream, pepper and dill weed. Return to saucepan and heat just to boiling point (do not boil). Stir in butter.

How To Cook Curried Corn Soup



INGREDIENTS:
  • blend recipe
  • 2cups raw corn(cut from cobs)
  • 1tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1cup milk
  • 2tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1cup light cream
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1/8tsp pepper
  • chopped parsley
PROCEDURE:
      Combine corn, and milk in medium saucepan. Bring to peppe a boil.Turn down heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Pour into blender and buzz until nearly smooth. Heat butter in same saucepan. Add curry powder and cook gently 3 minutes, stir in corn mixture, cream, salt and pepper. Heat stirring constanly. Taste and add more seasoning if needed.Serve springkled with parsley.
